What this website collects

This site sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third-party server — the fonts are served from this domain. You can read all of it without sending us anything.

Two forms, and only those, send data:

  • The contact form sends the name, email address, subject and message you type. They are used to reply to you and for nothing else.
  • The launch signup form sends your email address, so we can tell you when the app is available.

In both cases your IP address is turned into a daily-salted hash before anything is stored: it can tell two submissions apart, not identify a person, and yesterday’s hashes cannot be matched against today’s. Email is delivered through Resend. Messages are kept for as long as it takes to handle your request; write to us to have them deleted.

What the app collects

  • Account: your email address and display name, passed to us by Google at sign-in. We never receive your Google password.
  • Content: your master CV, the job posts you paste, your applications and their status, your notes, and the documents generated for you.
  • Usage: anonymous events ("document exported", "application created") recording that an action happened, never the content of your documents.
  • Purchases and advertising: credit purchase records, handled by RevenueCat and Google Play billing — we never see your card details. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob receives your device advertising identifier.
  • Device: model, OS version, app version, language — for diagnostics and compatibility.

We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or your camera.

AI processing and international transfer

Your content is not used to train AI models, and we do not sell any personal data. If you do not want this processing, do not paste your CV into the app.

Who we share data with

  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage, server functions. European Union (Ireland).
  • DeepSeek — document analysis and generation. China.
  • Google Sign-In — account authentication. Global.
  • Google AdMob — optional rewarded ads, requested in non-personalised mode. Global.
  • RevenueCat — purchase management. United States.
  • Expo — app delivery and updates. United States.
  • Resend — delivery of email sent from this website. European Union / United States.

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to data brokers. We may be required to disclose it at the request of a competent authority.

Retention and security

  • Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by our hosting provider.
  • Per-account isolation is enforced at the database level: your account can only ever read its own rows.
  • Our AI provider keys are held server-side and never appear in the installed app.
  • Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Nothing is deleted automatically today.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, export and restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.

  • View and correct your CV and applications: directly in the app, at any time.
  • Delete everything: Settings → Delete my account. This is immediate and irreversible; residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being overwritten.
  • For any other right, or to obtain a copy of your data: hjdgcompany@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Union, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. In Morocco, you may contact the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel).

Children

MasterCV is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

This policy may change as the app evolves. The update date at the top always reflects the version in force. Any significant change in how we use your data will be announced in the app. Governed by the law of Morocco, including law 09-08 on the protection of personal data, and by the GDPR for people located in the European Union.
